RE:     North Korea Denuclearisation

Suggestion:
Hon. President, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I am ambivalent about the US-North Korea relations. Nothing seems to happened North Korea denuclearisation. You are satisfied with no missiles flying and no nuclear testing going on. What legitimacy did the US-North Korea Singapore summit gain out of the summit? And what leverage? North Korean President Hon. Kim Jong-un demolished nuclear test sites is a good start. He claimed North Korea has already stopped producing nuclear weapons. In response, you have done a suspended a couple of military exercise which have since resumed. In my opinion it is not enough. At least you should make some good gesture of good will. For instance, lower 30,000 troops count in South Korea by a few hundred and make it non-essential support personnel instead of combat personnel too.  Progress in the US-North Korea summit has not compelled North Korea to take significant steps towards denuclearisation. Both the US and North Korea are not able to advance to the next stage on the denuclearisation. You have made it clear that you would oppose lifting sanctions unless concrete denuclearisation proceeded in parallel. A key point is that rapprochement between the US and North Korea is making good progress but aspects of it are stalled due to sanctions. I wish both the US and DPRK commit to establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two counties for peace and prosperity. I most humbly prayed your good office to make some exceptions in the sanctions for joint North Korea and South Korea projects. That would help the atmosphere. I fervently hope that your good office take appropriate action to ensure North Korea denuclearisation.

Thank you very much for your attention Hon. President.

Respectfully yours
Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja.

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA To: The Right Honorable Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: 30.09.2011 RE: Japan Energy Policy Suggestion: Changing Industrial Policy Good Morning Prime Minister. BBC World broadcasted your speech regarding alternate energy sources. I agree with your approach to reduce nuclear power in the medium term because having the nuclear reactors in an earthquake prone zone is not safe for the environment or the communities that live near them. Japan is struck in a difficult situation concerning energy. If you want to eventually move away from the nuclear energy, you’ll have to invest more alternative energy sources. If you can’t invest, then it may have to say with a nuclear power for a while. You need make the right decision because source of energy is dwindling. You have one more option which is Japanese people depend on nuclear power with only 1% but 9% including hydroe...

The Bank of England has decided to undertake more QE. I agreed that during the financial crisis of 2007-2008 monetary policy was effective in re-establishing liquidity in the main developed economies especially US, UK and Europe. But current economic conditions in developed economies reveal problems whose solutions are far beyond the scope of monetary an...
