CAUVERY WATER RIVER DISPUTES BETWEEN TAMIL NADU & KARNATAKA

To: The Right Honourable Supreme Court Chief Justice  Mr. Altamas Kabir

From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja

Date: December01, 2012

RE: Requisition of your good office to deliver amicable solution on sharing of Cauvery River Water issue of the poor farmers in Tamilnadu.

Suggestion:

Good Morning Mr. Chief Justice. You have directed two states of Chief Ministers for talks on cauvery issues to arrive at an amicable solution. My state Hon’ble Chief Minister obeyed your order because that is the law of the land as stated under Article 141 of the Constitution. Unfortunately, bilateral talks between the Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Tamilnadu failed to arrive an amicable solution. I anticipated that bilateral talks fail because once politics entered, nothing would emerge. Political disputes go on for decades together with no end ever.

My Lord, I can say with confidence, Karnataka government reeling under inadequate storage in its reservoirs and said it will not release a single drop of water. The main problem is Karnataka government has full control over Cauvery which is an inter-state river. Karnataka government have badly violated the inter-state agreements and caused irreparable harm to the poor farmer in Tamilnadu. Already Tamilnadu farmers lost its kuruvai crop recently due to bad monsoon in the state and delay in release of water by Karnataka. Tamilnadu farmers do not want to lost samba crop due to delay in release in water by Karnataka.

My Lord, My Chief Minister requesting your good office as an interim measure, minimum of 30 tmcft at the rate of 2 tmcft a day starting from December 1, 2012 to December 15, 2012 to save the standing samba crop.

My Lord, I most humbly prayed your good office to redress the grievance of Tamilnadu poor farmer to ensure that immediate release of adequate water to save at least samba crop in Tamilnadu. Tamilnadu farmers are in great distress. Tamilnadu farmers should be protected from suicides due to withering crops. My Lord, I am confident that you can resolve this dispute as earliest as possible to save poor farmers in Tamilnadu.

Thank you very much for your kind attention my lord.

I am Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja with great respect of you my lord.

Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

To put things into perspective, Nagorno-Karabakh is not an independent entity but an occupied territory of the Azerbaijan Republic and is recognised by the international community and the UN. The fact that the Armenian Prime Minister's son is doing his military service in the Armenian army located in Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh and started an undeclared war against Azerbaijan, occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and 7 adjacent regions of Azerbaijan, and massacred and forcefully deported Azerbaijani aborigines was the main reason for the lack of peace in the region. The laws of armed conflict failed to protect the Nagorno-Karabakh civilian population, individual civilians, and civilian property. The laws of armed conflict failed to discriminate between those taking parts in the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh. The laws of armed conflict failed to protect the environment as war causes severe or long term damage to the environment. The fact here is that there is a number of international doc...

German brothers and sisters in the Euroland must help in this difficult moment with iss...

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA To: The Right Honorable Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: 30.09.2011 RE: Japan Energy Policy Suggestion: Changing Industrial Policy Good Morning Prime Minister. BBC World broadcasted your speech regarding alternate energy sources. I agree with your approach to reduce nuclear power in the medium term because having the nuclear reactors in an earthquake prone zone is not safe for the environment or the communities that live near them. Japan is struck in a difficult situation concerning energy. If you want to eventually move away from the nuclear energy, you’ll have to invest more alternative energy sources. If you can’t invest, then it may have to say with a nuclear power for a while. You need make the right decision because source of energy is dwindling. You have one more option which is Japanese people depend on nuclear power with only 1% but 9% including hydroe...
