RE: Requisition of Kudankulam Nuclear Power first tranche of entire power to Tamilnadu

Suggestion:

Good Morning Mr. Prime Minister. As you know that Tamilnadu has long hours of power outage since 2012. It has crippled industrial activities in Tamilnadu. Our Chief Minister urged Prime Minister Office many times to give entire power to Tamilnadu. But your good office not even considering our Chief Minister request. I am not arguing your good office to give entire power to Tamilnadu but requesting first tranche of power generated at Kudankulam goes to Tamilnadu. Second tranche of power generated at Kudankulam goes to Kerala, Karnataka and Puducherry as per the agreement. I want every state should progress. But Tamilnadu is most industrialised state in India compare to Kerala, Karnataka and Puducherry. If the power crisis do not end at Tamilnadu, we will not get FDI. As you know that Tamilnadu attracts largest FDI compare to any other states in India during this fiscal despite long hours of power outage. In addition, Tamilnadu is the second largest state economy in India in 2012. Tamilnadu has the highest number of enterprises. As a result, the country’s IIP has slipped to -0.4 percent in the month of September 2012. Indeed, this is not good news for Indian economy. I would like to remind you here, shortage of power supply in Tamilnadu being slow down their manufacturing. Also, power outage is one of main reason for low economic growth of India. I can say with confidence that power outage will impact the overall economic growth of our country.

Mr. Prime Minister, I knew that Tamilnadu will need to generate even more power to meet the demand and it cannot be solved in the near term. Kudankulam first tranche of power may not make huge difference for our state but it will great relief for industrial activities at least in Chennai. Our government has planned to install solar photovoltaic to generate more power in the forthcoming budget to meet the growing demand. I am humbly prayed for that your good office will appreciate my state’s demand first tranche of power generated at Kudankulam goes to Tamilnadu in this matter and convey a positive response to our Chief Minister as earliest as possible. This will be great relief for Tamilnadu suffering from severe power outage.

Thank you very much for your kind attention Mr. Prime Minister.

Sincerely,
Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja.

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA To: The Right Honorable Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: 30.09.2011 RE: Japan Energy Policy Suggestion: Changing Industrial Policy Good Morning Prime Minister. BBC World broadcasted your speech regarding alternate energy sources. I agree with your approach to reduce nuclear power in the medium term because having the nuclear reactors in an earthquake prone zone is not safe for the environment or the communities that live near them. Japan is struck in a difficult situation concerning energy. If you want to eventually move away from the nuclear energy, you’ll have to invest more alternative energy sources. If you can’t invest, then it may have to say with a nuclear power for a while. You need make the right decision because source of energy is dwindling. You have one more option which is Japanese people depend on nuclear power with only 1% but 9% including hydroe...

The Bank of England has decided to undertake more QE. I agreed that during the financial crisis of 2007-2008 monetary policy was effective in re-establishing liquidity in the main developed economies especially US, UK and Europe. But current economic conditions in developed economies reveal problems whose solutions are far beyond the scope of monetary an...
