RE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY STATE BELOVED CHIEF MINISTER DR. J. JAYALALITHA

I wish you from the bottom of my heart, many many happy returns of the day Ms. Chief Minister. The people of Tamilnadu are greatly honoured to celebrate your 65th birthday and to wish you good health, strength, happiness and all that your heart desires. I am writing to urge your Majesty’s government to take a leadership role addressing the huge power deficits of Tamilnadu. Tamilnadu with a power deficit of 4 GW has drawn up an ambitious plan to add 3 GW through solar by 2015. I think it is a stiff task because Tangedco policy is not as much effective especially in solar power. I would like to suggest the following affirmative action’s for Tamilnadu solar power tender.

(i)         Tangedco should handle its bidding process give more leeway in terms of pricing and project completion. Tangedco need to make changes in provisions for letter of credit and shoving back the solar power project execution deadline to 12 to 14 months because 8 months was a stiff task. Big companies in Tamilnadu including KSK, Enerparc, Azure Power, Aston Field Renewables did not participate in the bidding process because of 8 months was a stiff task.

(ii)            Tangedco should clear the payments as earliest as possible.

(iii)           Benchmark price should be decided after the bidding process.

Tangedco policy gives more leeway in terms of pricing and project completion. It is absolutely necessary to achieve 3 GW through solar by 2015.

Ms. Chief Minister, our state and government have demonstrated a capacity to achieve astounding results in many areas. For instance, recently, we awarded Cauvery water disputes tribunal in the gazette. We all believe in our judicial system. We will get it done everything through our judicial system. I am confident that a concerted effort by the government to address our state power crisis and ensure that will yield positive and substantial results.

Finally, I have a great admiration of your little story in every meeting. I have no father and mother. Your little story is really inspiring and motivating me to do something good for my state and want to make difference in this world. You continue to inspire many of us to try to do better for Tamilnadu people. Thank you for the great work you have done for our state and still doing and for leading by example. I am grateful for all you have done to support.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS. CHIEF MINISTER! GOD BLESS YOU!

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA

SUGGESTION TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF JAPAN YOSHIHIKO NODA To: The Right Honorable Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: 30.09.2011 RE: Japan Energy Policy Suggestion: Changing Industrial Policy Good Morning Prime Minister. BBC World broadcasted your speech regarding alternate energy sources. I agree with your approach to reduce nuclear power in the medium term because having the nuclear reactors in an earthquake prone zone is not safe for the environment or the communities that live near them. Japan is struck in a difficult situation concerning energy. If you want to eventually move away from the nuclear energy, you’ll have to invest more alternative energy sources. If you can’t invest, then it may have to say with a nuclear power for a while. You need make the right decision because source of energy is dwindling. You have one more option which is Japanese people depend on nuclear power with only 1% but 9% including hydroe...

The Bank of England has decided to undertake more QE. I agreed that during the financial crisis of 2007-2008 monetary policy was effective in re-establishing liquidity in the main developed economies especially US, UK and Europe. But current economic conditions in developed economies reveal problems whose solutions are far beyond the scope of monetary an...
