THE EU DRAFT TREATY WITH SWITZERLAND

To:     The Right Honourable President of the Swiss Confederation Mr. Alain Berset From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: December 10, 2018 RE:      The EU Draft Treaty with Switzerland. Suggestion: Hon. President, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. As an Analyst, I must give credit to the fact that Switzerland literally everything right including Swiss political, economy, industry, finance and on individual level. Switzerland is the only country which never to have had monarchy or a ruling class that would slow Swiss development. Swiss people are well educated, working very hard, efficient and their wealth is well distributed. The Swiss are internationally renowned as expert negotiators, do their manoeuvring quietly and intelligently and better shape up the financial reporting. Yes, the EU too has a very strong negotiating position and it is using fully. Swiss democracy works on an informed basis. Swi...

BREXIT DEAL

To:     The Right Honourable UK Prime Minister Mrs. Theresa May From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: February 1, 2019 RE:      BREXIT Deal (Backstop) Suggestion: Hon. Prime Minister, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. Hon. Prime Minister, your BREXIT deal that keeps the UK in the European Union Customs Union and Northern Ireland in the single market and the UK to adhere to the EU State aid. It requires the EU 27 Member States approval for the UK to exit the backstop. Fundamentally, if the Britain leaves the EU Customs Union and the EU regulatory regime there has to be a hard border between the Republic of Ireland and the Northern Ireland. Hard border would violate the GFA. Neither the Republic of Ireland nor the UK and Northern Ireland wants the hard border there. The backstop does propose an actual way to avoid hard border. Now the UK needs a workable solution that could replace the backstop. IMHO, ...

NORTH KOREA DENUCLEARISATION

To:     The Right Honourable South Korean President Hon. Moon Jae-in From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: January 12, 2019 RE:      North Korea Denuclearisation Suggestion: Hon. President, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I am ambivalent about the North Korea denuclearisation. North Korean President Hon. Kim Jong-un claimed North Korea already stopped producing nuclear weapons. He demolished nuclear test sites and nuclear laboratories are a good start. In response, US did nothing. The US needs to be responded with at least takes goodwill gesture to make negotiations forward. The US should lower their 30,000 military troops count in South Korea by few hundreds. I appreciate the US government has done suspended couple of military exercise which have since resumed but it is not enough. I would recommended that both the US and South Korea work together accordance with the desire of Koreans. Hon. Pr...

NORTH KOREA DENUCLEARISATION

To:     The Right Honourable American President Mr. Donald Trump From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: January 3, 2019 RE:      North Korea Denuclearisation Suggestion: Hon. President, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I am ambivalent about the US-North Korea relations. Nothing seems to happened North Korea denuclearisation. You are satisfied with no missiles flying and no nuclear testing going on. What legitimacy did the US-North Korea Singapore summit gain out of the summit? And what leverage? North Korean President Hon. Kim Jong-un demolished nuclear test sites is a good start. He claimed North Korea has already stopped producing nuclear weapons. In response, you have done a suspended a couple of military exercise which have since resumed. In my opinion it is not enough. At least you should make some good gesture of good will. For instance, lower 30,000 troops count in South Korea by a few hundr...

THANK YOU NOTE TO THE UK GOVERNMENT

To:     The Right Honourable UK Prime Minister Mrs. Theresa May From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: January 28, 2019 RE:      UK gives 2.5 million Pound to Yemani peace process Suggestion: Hon. Prime Minister, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I applaud your government gives 2.5 million Pound to Yemani peace process last week. The UK is aid donar to Yemen but we must do more politically to end Yemen’s deadly conflict. It might help more if we stopped selling typhoon jets, bombs and armaments, pilot training and other advanced weaponry to the head choppers and hand cutters. As an independent Analyst, I write to urge your government to mobilise political will and working toward a peaceful end to Yemen’s deadly conflict. Thank you once again for your aid donar to Yemen.       Thank you very much for your attention Hon. Prime Minister. Respectfully yours Athinarayanan Sanjeev...

THE US – NORTH KOREA SECOND SUMMIT 2019 – THE ROAD TO RECONCILIATION

To:     The Right Honourable US President Hon. Donald Trump  From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: February 22, 2019 RE:      THE US – NORTH KOREA SECOND SUMMIT 2019 – THE ROAD TO RECONCILIATION   Suggestion: Hon. President, let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I am supportive of the US-North Korea Second Summit 2019. I welcome the US-North Korea continuing the negotiations. I am still insisting on North Korea’s Permanent, Verifiable, and Irreversible Dismantling North Korea’s Nuclear Programme (PVID). Yes, that is our original goal. Mr. President, you have chosen Vietnam for the US-North Korea Second Summit 2019 because of its symbolic significance. Today Vietnam’s improving ties with the US for both economic and security interests. You want to show the world as well as North Korea, how the US and Vietnam overcome the past hostilities and keeps its promises with former foes Vietnam. I clearly...

BREXIT

To:     The Right Honourable UK Prime Minister Mrs. Theresa May From: Athinarayanan Sanjeevraja Date: November 13, 2018 RE:      BREXIT Suggestion: Mrs. Prime Minister let me start by paying my respects to you and through you to. I just heard from BBC World news that “BREXIT talk in end game”. Well but we all wanted to know what sort of end game? We are still waiting to find out what BREXIT means. The UK trade with the EU talks have not even started yet. IMHO, the UK trade deal will not have been settled by the end of the transition period. Mark my words. That is why the Irish backstop has become so redlines during the BREXIT negotiations. If you allowed the UK trade deal with the EU to be unhitched from the BREXIT negotiations, the UK will going to be losing every step of the way. Remember. Let me put it very clearly, the EU is not punishing the UK. Nevertheless, the EU has made a major concession to the UK by agreeing in prin...
